operation go time!
In the coming weeks there will be some organised events coming up where you can take your signs and join the masses. Stay tuned, but get your signs made NOW so you're ready to go at short notice.
The idea behind the signs is to demonstrate that even though 'We The People' are not a group, we are UNITED in our response to current government. There are some major issues of concern that a huge number of Australians are talking about and by standing together with a clear message, we have more of a chance of having an impact.
STAGE 5 / CREATE YOUR SIGNS
We have created a series of A2 (420mm x 594mm) sign pdfs. Download them at the top of this page by clicking on them. Each sign is 2 sided with "STOP THE ROT, SACK THE LOT" on the reverse side of the individual messages. You can choose from an individual message each, or a staggered message that you can all walk down the road with in a line formation.
Choose to print your signs at Officeworks and mount onto cardboard or foam board, or if you don't want to spend any money, you can just copy the layouts and make your own signs with some paint and some cardboard.

The purpose of us all having the same signs is to demonstrate that we are united. If we are coordinated, our message is amplified. If all these signs appear all over Australia – all at once – imagine the impact that would have??? With that in mind, please participate in the way that feels best for you.
The next step – Step 6 – we will announce a day for us all to come out onto the streets with our signs in the biggest peaceful protest in Australian history! Have your signs ready by mid September so you are ready to go when we make the announcement.
STAGE 4 / Organise your group
Hopefully you have been successful in forming your group. The next stages of the operation will involve the following:

a) Petitioning your members of parliament to vote against the ACMA Bill when it is brought to the floor. Send emails and/or letters asking them to declare in writing if they will be voting in favour or against the ACMA Bill. If they declare that they will be voting in favour of the Bill, action will be taken to persuade them about the danger of this Bill and its consequences. Let them know that it would be against the public interest to support this Bill. (Please get in contact with us via the CHAT BOX to inform us about any responses you do receive from your MP on this matter. Please include the name of the MP in your correspondence);

b) Spread awareness in the community as to the danger of this Bill and encourage people to take action to ensure that this Bill will not succeed. See the RESOURCES section of this website for material that you can use.
STAGE 3 / Start educating your street
ACMA information leaflet letterbox drop + handout to public – Release and use of Single “Summary” sign + invitation to meet at designated time and place to discuss ACMA Bill and other matters and distribute more information.
STAGE 2 / get in touch
Leave a message in the CHAT section once you've had your meeting. We will get in touch with you.
STAGE 1 / meet in the street
Once you have done your letterbox drop, make sure you have downloaded the PDF of Gideon's Power Point on the RESOURCES page, should you need information at hand to share/tell people attending.

Please jump on the CHAT section (Bottom Right Hand Corner of your screen) and leave a message once you have done your letterbox drop. We will be in contact. Await further information.
